[11-08-2023] 58-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed Following Hit-And-Run Collision in VictorvilleA 58-year-old pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run crash in Victorville on Wednesday night, November 8, 2023.

According to the Victorville Fire Department, the collision occurred at approximately 8:13 p.m. on Amargosa Road, between Mesa Street and Gabriel Road.

The pedestrian, identified as Felipe A., was struck by a pickup truck going south as he walked on the road. He was found seriously injured and was immediately treated, but he later succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The driver fled the scene, but the passenger’s side view mirror on the suspect’s truck was reportedly damaged.

The road was closed for several hours, pending further investigation. Neither the cause of the fatal crash nor the identity of the suspect has been released.
