[11-09-2021] Kern County, CA – One Person Killed After a Two-Vehicle Collision in Buttonwillow

One unidentified person was killed after a fatal two-vehicle collision in Buttonwillow on Tuesday evening, November 9, 2021.

The crash happened on Old River Road west of Valpredo Avenue in Buttonwillow at around 6:15 p.m.

Two vehicles collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. How the crash occurred and why it happened have not been established.

One person was killed in the crash. Meanwhile, a second person sustained moderate injuries in the accident and was hospitalized.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the crash. Additional information about the accident is unavailable at the moment.
