An unidentified woman was injured after a two-vehicle collision involving a utility truck in Anderson on Wednesday evening, November 10, 2021.

[11-10-2021] Shasta County, CA - Woman Injured After Car Slams Into a Utility Truck in AndersonThe crash happened at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the area of South Street and Highway 273 in Anderson.

A car crashed into a trailer that was being towed by a utility truck. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found a woman unresponsive in the car. The woman was immediately taken to Mercy Medical Center in Redding for treatment.

Meanwhile, two passengers in the utility truck were uninjured by the mishap. South Street was shut down for a few hours to give way for the cleanup and investigation.

The case is currently under further investigation.
