[11-10-2022] El Dorado County, CA – DUI Collision in Placerville Leaves One Injured

A driver was injured after a DUI collision involving two vehicles in Placerville Thursday morning, November 10, 2022.

Authorities reported that the crash transpired at around 10:00 a.m. close to the Highway 50 overpass on Placerville Drive.

The 62-year-old driver, Randall W., a resident of Pollock Pines, was allegedly driving under the influence.

He was driving a GMC Sierra 2500 when the vehicle slammed into a Toyota Camry.

The Toyota’s driver sustained minor wounds and was immediately taken to Marshall Hospital.

Meanwhile, police officers took the 62-year-old driver into custody.
