A juvenile was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Lucerne Valley, San Bernardino County, on Friday afternoon, November 10, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. on the 32000 block of Furst Street near Ox Bow Road.
The juvenile was struck by an unknown vehicle. Authorities found the victim unresponsive, and life-saving measures were initiated immediately, but the minor was later pronounced dead.
An investigation was underway to identify the cause of the incident, including whether the child was in the street or driveway at the time.
Neither the identity of the victim nor the cause of the accident have been released.
