[11-11-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Twelve People Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash During Pursuit in Vermont Square

Twelve people were injured after a police chase led to a multi-vehicle collision in Vermont Square, Los Angeles, on Saturday night, November 11, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred just before 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Six vehicles were involved in the crash after authorities attempted to stop a reckless driver. Witnesses say police sirens were heard before one of the vehicles veered off the road.

Five victims were transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Two other victims sustained minor injuries, and five declined to be transported.
