An unidentified 60-year-old man was injured after a major pedestrian crash in Sherman Heights on Saturday afternoon, November 13, 2021.

The older man was crossing Market street when he was suddenly struck by a passing Kia Sportage that was traveling westbound on the No. 1 lane.

The driver that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Meanwhile, the pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital with a fractured pelvis and femur.

Additional information about the accident is unavailable at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
