[11-13-2022] Contra Costa County, CA – Solo Vehicle Collision on Interstate 80 Severely Injures Two People

Two people were severely injured after a single-vehicle collision on Interstate 80 Sunday evening, November 13, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5:10 p.m. on the eastbound I-80 lanes at Pomona Street.

The vehicle driver reportedly got his foot stuck close to the accelerator pedal.

Both victims were airlifted to John Muir Medical Center after sustaining critical injuries.
