According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1.35 million people per year die on roads. Pedestrians, motorcyclists, and cyclists are frequently involved in these fatalities.

Crash-related deaths are the eighth-leading cause of death worldwide and the number one killer of young children and teenagers.

A single-vehicle collision can happen for many reasons. Run-off-the-road accidents occur when a driver is speeding or making quick turns on a wet, slick road and loses control of their vehicle. The road may be covered in debris-like branches or objects that have fallen off trucks.

It is possible to prevent these incidents by wearing a seatbelt, staying alert, and avoiding distractions while driving. People still risk being involved in these unfortunate traffic accidents despite taking precautions.
