[11-14-2022] Pedestrian vs. Car Leaves One Injured in EurekaA pedestrian collision led to one victim sustaining injuries in Eureka Monday evening, November 14, 2022.

According to authorities, the crash occurred around 7:00 p.m. on 4th Street near the R Street intersection.

When responders arrived at the scene, one pedestrian had been injured.

Medical personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital for additional treatment.

The pedestrian’s name and residence have yet to be disclosed.

A preliminary investigation showed that drugs and alcohol were not contributing to the collision.
