[11-16-2022] Multi-Vehicle Crash Kills One and Injures Two Others in a Shopping CenterOne person was killed, and two others were sent to a trauma center after a multi-vehicle and pedestrian crash in San Mateo on Wednesday afternoon, November 16, 2022.

According to the San Mateo Police, the pedestrian vs. vehicle crash involved three vehicles and occurred at 12:03 p.m. in a Target store parking lot at the Bridgepointe Shopping Center at 2220 Fashion Island Boulevard.

Three people were transported to a trauma center, including the driver responsible for the collision, who later passed away. The other two were reportedly in stable condition.

There are no details as to what exactly happened. But further investigation is being conducted.

The Bridgepointe Shopping Center entrance and driveway were closed before getting reopened after the scene was cleared.
