[11-18-2022] Two People Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision near WillowsLocal authorities said two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision near Willows on Friday afternoon, November 18, 2022.

According to the Willows Fire Department, the crash occurred at about 3:00 p.m. in the vicinity of County Road P and County Road 45.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision involved a white Dodge minivan running a stop sign south on Co Ro P and crashing with a black Nissan pickup truck going west on Co Ro 45.

The pickup truck’s driver and passenger both suffered moderate injuries, with one individual reportedly being taken to the hospital via helicopter.

The van’s driver did not sustain any wounds, according to the CHP. No information on their identities and conditions was released.

The roads in the area were closed following the collision as the investigation continued.
