[11-19-2022] One Killed Another Injured Following Collision Near Myers FlatA two-vehicle crash killed one driver and injured another near Myers Flat Saturday afternoon, November 19, 2022.

According to authorities, the fatal collision occurred around 3:54 p.m. between Myers Flat and Weott.

Toyota 4Runner was on the northbound lane when for unknown reasons, it veered across the double-yellow solid divider lines directly into the path of the Subaru Impreza.

Both vehicles came to rest, blocking the southbound lane no. 2 after the Subaru collided head-on with the Toyota, striking the Toyota’s passenger side.

When responders arrived at the Toyota’s driver had died from her injuries.

Meanwhile, the Subaru driver was treated at Saint Joseph’s Hospital for moderate to severe injuries.

It is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.

Authorities are still looking into the collision.
