[11-20-2024] Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Highway 101 Ramp Near Madonna RoadA pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at a Highway 101 ramp in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday morning, November 20, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicle was traveling southbound on the highway when it struck a pedestrian at the Madonna Road off-ramp around 9:19 a.m.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but details regarding injuries to the pedestrian or driver have not yet been confirmed.

The CHP implemented a traffic break starting at the California Boulevard ramp at 9:33 a.m. to slow oncoming vehicles.

A tow truck was also called to the scene, and the incident did not appear to cause significant traffic delays on the highway as of 10 a.m.
