[11-21-2022] 22-Year-Old Pedestrian Severely Injured During Collision Near Agnew RoadA pedestrian sustained serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Santa Clara on Monday morning, November 21, 2022.

Authorities reported that the crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. between Montague Expressway and Agnew Road.

Reports revealed that the pedestrian was crossing the street against a traffic signal when he was struck by a vehicle on the Montague Expressway heading north.

Responders immediately transported the 22-year-old victim from Santa Clara to the hospital with serious wounds.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old female driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Neither drugs nor alcohol appears to be involved in the crash.
