At least one person was killed after a semi-truck vs. vehicle collision in San Clemente late Tuesday morning, November 21, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision occurred around 11:56 a.m. on the Avenida Palizada exit of the southbound Interstate 5.

Reports indicate a semi-truck collided with a pickup truck, resulting in the death of an unidentified person on the scene.
