One person was killed while another person was injured after a deadly two-vehicle crash in Mission Hills on Monday evening, November 22, 2021.
The accident transpired at approximately 5:15 p.m. in the 13470 block of Sepulveda Boulevard near Rinaldi Street and the Eden Memorial Park Cemetery in Mission Hills.
Two vehicles crashed on the highway for unknown reasons. The cause of the accident and how it happened have yet to be determined.
Emergency personnel later arrived and declared one person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, another person was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters.
The trapped person was then rushed to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
