A 35-year-old pregnant woman identified as Sara M. was killed after getting shot in a road rage incident on Florida Street on Monday, November 22, 2021.

[11-22-2021] Orange County, CA - Pregnant Woman Killed After a Hit-and-Run Road Rage Incident on Florida StreetThe incident allegedly stemmed from a hit-and-run crash over the weekend. The 35-year-old woman was driving a Kia when she struck a 40-year-old motorcyclist on Saturday evening.

Authorities suspect that the Kia driver may have intentionally hit and motorcycle rider and drove away from the scene.

The motorcycle rider, along with other witnesses, tried to get the Kia driver to stop, but she refused to pull over. They then followed her vehicle in hopes of identifying her.

The Kia driver then drove back to her house and called 911. She grabbed a gun before heading back outside to confront the rider and the witnesses.

The rider also had a handgun on him and drew his gun, and opened fire on the woman several times. The motorcycle rider had a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon.

The pregnant Kia driver was rushed to an area hospital, but she could not survive her injuries and was pronounced dead.

The incident is currently under further investigation. No arrests have been made at the moment.
