[11-22-2022] Two-Vehicle Collision Injures At Least One in EurekaAt least one person was hurt following a two-vehicle collision in Eureka in Humboldt County on Tuesday afternoon, November 22, 2022.

According to the Eureka Police Department, the crash occurred at about 12:15 p.m. on 14th Street and C Street.

The Eureka Police and Humboldt Bay Fire responded to the scene. A black Kia reportedly was traveling northbound on C Street toward 14th when it ran a stop sign.

A white Nissan traveling west on the 14th could not stop and collided with the Kia.

Medical responders dispatched to the crash reported that one of the implicated persons, possibly a passenger of one of the vehicles, suffered a seizure.

The authorities didn’t release additional information on the total number of people involved and the extent of injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the collision continued.
