A hit-and-run crash left a 72-year-old woman severely injured in Modesto on Tuesday night, November 22, 2022.

The crash reportedly occurred around 11:30 p.m. close to Snyder Avenue and Thornhill Way intersection.

Authorities state that a white four-door sedan struck the woman as she was crossing the street.

The driver and passenger switched places before veering off the road. A man and a woman were in the car when it left.
