The crash reportedly occurred around 11:30 p.m. close to Snyder Avenue and Thornhill Way intersection.

Authorities state that a white four-door sedan struck the woman as she was crossing the street.

The driver and passenger switched places before veering off the road. A man and a woman were in the car when it left.

Responders arrived at the scene and discovered the 72-year-old victim suffering from head abrasions and pain.

A search is underway for the car’s passengers and driver.
