[11-23-2021] Fresno County, CA – 4 People Injured After a Suspected DUI Crash on Cedar and Florence Avenues

Four people were injured after an alleged DUI accident at Cedar and Florence Avenues intersection on Tuesday night, November 23, 2021.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash happened at around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of East Cedar Avenue and Florence Avenue.

Two Amazon contract workers were pulling out of the facility in their Chevy when a Kia suddenly hit them on Cedar Avenue.

The Chevy driver sustained serious injuries in the crash. Meanwhile, three passengers in the Kia sustained minor injuries. They were all taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities determined that the Kia driver was under the influence at the time of the accident. He was arrested on DUI-related charges. He was also driving without a license. He was booked into Fresno County jail.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. The case is currently under further investigation.
