[11-24-2022] Shasta County, CA - Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Crashing with Vehicle in ReddingAuthorities said a motorcyclist was seriously injured after getting in a crash with a vehicle in East Redding on Thursday afternoon, November 24, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 3:55 p.m. on Old Oregon Trail and Leighton Road.

The CHP officers dispatched to the site said the crash involved a motorcycle and a white Prius. It was unclear how the crash came to be.

The collision left the motorcycle driver with major injuries. No details were released on the driver’s identity and current condition. There was no information on the car driver as well.

Officials added that a probable DUI is currently being looked into in relation to the crash.
