[11-25-2022] Cyclist Critically Injured After Collision in Northwest BerkeleyA cyclist was hospitalized after colliding with another vehicle in Berkeley on Friday night, November 25, 2022.

Authorities reported that the collision transpired around 7:00 p.m. at a Northwest Berkeley intersection.

Reports state that a 2002 Volvo driver heading south on San Pablo Avenue struck a bicycle crossing the street while moving east on Virginia Street.

The victim is in the intensive care unit after sustaining severe injuries in the crash.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
