An unidentified 44-year-old man was killed after a fatal pedestrian crash at an intersection in Yosemite on Friday afternoon, November 26, 2021.

A silver Ford Focus struck a male pedestrian near the Merced intersection for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established.

Unfortunately, the unidentified male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

The Ford Focus driver was uninjured in the mishap. The driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities. Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the crash.
