Reports confirmed that the deadly crash occurred around 12:18 a.m. northbound on Hollywood (101) Freeway at North Vermont Avenue.

Responders found the victim lying in the No. 3 lane and was declared dead on the scene.

According to witnesses, the victim may have been struck by two vehicles.

No information was provided on the vehicle and driver that struck the pedestrian.

Three lanes were shut down while officers further investigated the crash.
