[11-26-2022] One Killed Another Injured After Car Veers Off Road Near San JoseOne man was killed and another injured when a car veered off the road near San Jose on Saturday afternoon, November 26, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision transpired around 3:40 p.m. on San Felipe Road, just north of Metcalf Road.

Reports state that the driver drove at high speed after failing to navigate a turn. The Tesla struck a tree, continued southward, and overturned several times before hitting another tree.

It eventually came to rest with its wheels pointed westward. Tesla was severely damaged during the rollover.

The 22-year-old driver failed to wear a seatbelt, and he was ejected from the vehicle.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old male passenger was restrained by a seat belt.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and declared that the victim had succumbed to his injuries.

The victim was immediately taken to Regional Medical Center with only minor injuries.

Alcohol or drugs are suspected of having contributed to the collision.

Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
