[11-27-2021] Fresno County, CA – Clovis ‘Dancing Man’ Killed After a Deadly Pedestrian Accident Near His Favorite Intersection

A 57-year-old doctor identified as Sidney C. was killed after a fatal pedestrian accident at an intersection in Clovis on Saturday night, November 27, 2021.

The fatal crash transpired at approximately 7:00 p.m. near Bullard and Temperance avenues in Clovis. It was the doctor’s favorite intersection.

The doctor was crossing the street when he was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle.

The Clovis community was shocked when they heard about the death of the “dancing doctor.” He was a well-loved man in the community, and he was well-known for dancing on the sidewalk. He was given the nickname “dancing man.”

The dancing doctor died in the very same corner he often danced in. The driver that struck the victim remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Last Sunday, a vigil was held to honor the dancing man for bringing joy into people’s lives, even in his simple ways.

Locals also put up several memorials at the intersection. An active investigation of the accident is currently underway.
