[11-27-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Teenage Boy Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision in Sylmar

Authorities said a teenage boy was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on Sunday morning, November 27, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash occurred at 11:47 a.m. at 13920 W. Foothill Boulevard.

The collision involved a Sedan driven by the teenager crashing with a pickup truck before hitting a pole. No further details on the cause of the crash were released.

The teenage driver was declared dead at the site, while the pickup driver, a 56-year-old man, was transported to a hospital after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities conducted further investigation, including whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
