An unidentified 22-year-old woman was killed while another person was injured following a deadly two-vehicle crash in Bakersfield on Monday morning, November 28, 2021.

A 2018 Honda Civic was traveling southbound on Buena Vista Road when it failed to stop for a posted stop sign as it approached Highway 119.

The Honda was then broadsided by an eastbound 2016 Scion TC that was driving on Highway 119.

Unfortunately, the female Honda driver was fatally injured in the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the Scion driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Kern Medical for treatment.

Information about the crash is limited at the moment. It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
