[11-28-2022] 69-Year-Old Rider Dies After Being Struck in Morro BayA fatal collision resulted in the death of a 69-year-old motorcyclist in Morro Bay Monday afternoon, November 28, 2022.

Authorities confirmed that the deadly crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. in the 500 Block of Atascadero Road east of Hill Street.

According to reports, 69-year-old Michael B. was driving his motorbike east on Atascadero Road when he was hit by a truck pulling out of a company driveway.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the police when they arrived.

The victim later complained of pain and was sent to a local hospital for treatment, but he died on Wednesday due to injuries sustained in the collision.
