One person was killed after a two-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 280 near the Highway 1 junction in San Mateo County late Thursday night, November 28, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 10:45 p.m. near the Eastmoor Avenue exit. The crash involved a Honda and another unidentified vehicle.

Authorities pronounced the victim dead at the scene, with their identity being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
