A 59-year-old man was killed while two others were hurt after a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Watsonville on Monday morning, November 29, 2021.

[11-29-2021] Santa Cruz County, CA - One Person Killed, Two Others Injured After a Multi-Vehicle Collision in WatsonvilleThe fatal collision happened at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Highway 129 between Walker Street and Harvest Drive in Watsonville.

A 2006 Toyota Tacoma and a 2019 Ford F-650 collided on the westbound side of the highway. The two vehicles then rolled over following the collision, and the Ford’s flatbed utility trailer got detached.

An oncoming Chevrolet Malibu then crashed into the detached trailer on the eastbound lanes.

One person was killed in the crash. Meanwhile, two others sustained unspecified injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
