[11-29-2022] Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Car in AntelopeAuthorities said a pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car in Antelope, Sacramento County, on Tuesday morning, November 29, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. at the Walerga and Antelope roads intersection.

The individual struck by a vehicle reportedly received CPR before the first responders took them to the hospital.

No other details were released by the authorities on the victim’s identification and current condition.

According to a witness who drove past the location, they noticed garments in the roadway and a car parked on the side of the road.

The crash prompted the road’s closure in the area, but it was later reopened to the public.
