[11-30-2021] Stanislaus County, CA – Two People Hurt Following a Two-Vehicle Crash in Modesto

An on-duty Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputy and a 37-year-old woman were injured after a traffic collision in Modesto on Tuesday afternoon, November 30, 2021.

[11-30-2021] Stanislaus County, CA - Two People Hurt Following a Two-Vehicle Crash in ModestoThe major collision occurred on Highway 99 at the Kiernan Avenue exit in Modesto at approximately 1:30 p.m.

A deputy was traveling in his cruiser northbound on Highway 99 and got off at the Kiernan Avenue off-ramp while an Acura was heading eastbound on Kiernan Avenue.

As the deputy drove into the intersection exit, his vehicle was suddenly struck on the driver’s side by the eastbound Acura.

Both the sheriff’s deputy and the female Acura driver sustained minor injuries in the crash. Information about the accident is limited at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
