[12-01-2024] 72-Year-Old Struck and Killed By Vehicle in Palm SpringsA 72-year-old man died after being hit by a car in Palm Springs on Sunday evening, December 1, 2024.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m., close to the intersection of E. Vista Chino and Volturno Road.

According to the police, the driver of the involved vehicle stayed and cooperated with the investigation. The authorities confirmed that drugs and/or alcohol are not believed to have contributed to the crash.

The Riverside County Coroner’s Office will notify the pedestrian’s next of kin before revealing his identity.

The incident is still being investigated.
