[12-01-2024] Two Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash Ends CHP Pursuit on 605 FreewayTwo people were injured after a California Highway Patrol pursuit ended in a multi-vehicle crash on the northbound 605 Freeway at the Slauson Avenue off-ramp in Whittier on Sunday night, December 1, 2024.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred around 9:53 p.m. and involved at least four vehicles.

The pursuit ended when the suspect’s vehicle collided with multiple cars, resulting in two people being transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. One of the injured was reportedly a suspect in the chase.

Los Angeles County Fire Department crews arrived at the scene to provide assistance.

Two suspects were taken into custody while CHP officers continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the pursuit and crash.
