[12-02-2022] Glenn County, CA – Woman Struck and Injured by Vehicle in Willows

A female pedestrian was injured after getting struck by a vehicle in Willows on Friday late afternoon, December 02, 2022.

According to the Willows Fire Department, the crash occurred around 5:41 p.m. at the Wood Street and Shasta Street intersection.

A medical helicopter was requested after emergency personnel arrived at the site to transport the victim.

She was taken to a hospital by Reach 7 for sustaining serious injuries. The driver was reportedly unharmed.

Between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m., Wood Street was shut down as emergency personnel investigated the situation.

According to Willows Fire, there is no crosswalk at the junction of Shasta Street and Wood Street.
