Authorities confirmed that the crash occurred around 11:50 a.m. in the Serramonte Center parking lot.

Reports state that the driver lost control of the bus as it turned into the shopping center. It jumped a curb and plowed into the parking lot.

Responders arrived at the scene and transported the injured victims to San Francisco General Hospital.

The bus driver claims that the brakes had failed before the collision.
