A teenage girl sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car while walking to school in Foothill Farms, Sacramento County, on Monday morning, December 2, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Hillsdale Boulevard, just south of Palm Avenue.
