[12-03-2022] Man Seriously Injured in Old North Sacramento Pedestrian AccidentA male pedestrian was seriously injured after getting struck by a car in Old North Sacramento late Saturday afternoon, December 03, 2022.

The Sacramento Police Department reports that the pedestrian crash occurred at 5:40 p.m. at the 2600 block of Rio Linda Boulevard between Lampasas Avenue and Eleanor Avenue.

When the responders arrived at the scene, they found a man with major injuries.

No other information on the car driver and the current condition of the victim was released as the investigation continued.

The authorities shut down a section of Rio Linda, and drivers were advised to take alternate routes.
