Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision Statistics
Car accidents frequently have long-term and, in some circumstances, deadly consequences. To avoid this, all drivers should drive responsibly.
Car accidents are unfortunately not uncommon in the United States. In 2018, there were approximately 33,654 fatal motor vehicle accidents. Thirty-six thousand five hundred sixty people were killed in automobile accidents that year.
In this case, a multi-vehicle collision occurred. This type of accident happens when three or more vehicles collide. They are typically triggered by a “chain-reaction” crash, in which one car hits with another, potentially causing it to collide with other cars on the road.
Under California law, reckless driving is either a major traffic violation or an extreme driving offense. Reckless driving is often interchanged with driving without due care, careless driving, or improper driving. No matter what you call it, it significantly increases the risk of serious car accidents.
Riverside Accident Attorney for Victims of Multi-Vehicle Collisions
The death of a loved one in a fatal multi-vehicle accident can be stressful and sad for the victim’s family. Cases like these can be difficult, so hiring an experienced attorney is vital.
Your attorney will strive to establish who was responsible for the accident and what it will take to pay you fairly for your injuries and losses.
Your attorney can also defend your rights if there is insufficient insurance coverage to cover all damages. This is a common issue in a multiple-car collision, as several victims frequently attempt to access the same insurance policy.
