[12-04-2022] Contra Costa County, CA – One Killed, Two Others Injured in Antioch Two-Vehicle Collision

One person was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Antioch on Sunday morning, December 04, 2022.

The Antioch Police Department said the crash occurred around 10:05 a.m. along James Donlon Boulevard close to Silverado Drive.

40-year-old Willie S. from Antioch was declared dead after being ejected from the pickup truck he was riding when it flipped.

Two more people in a white BMW received injuries and were brought to the hospital. They are expected to be okay. Police are looking into whether speed played a role.

Residents in the neighborhood said the area had seen a lot of collisions. Cars frequently exceed the 40 mph speed limit and even engage in racing.
