[12-06-2024] Two Motorists Extricated After Collision at Carrillo and Santa Barbara StreetsTwo motorists were extricated from their vehicles following a crash in Santa Barbara on Friday night, December 6, 2024.

The collision, involving a gray Toyota Camry and a black Chevy Suburban, occurred just after 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Carrillo and Santa Barbara streets, according to Santa Barbara City Fire Battalion Chief Cory Cloud.

Both individuals were transported by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment. Their identities and conditions were not immediately available.

The Santa Barbara Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
