[12-07-2021] Fresno County, CA – One Person Was Injured After a Car Crash Near Auberry

An unidentified woman was injured after a car crash near Auberry on Tuesday afternoon, December 7, 2021.

According to the initial reports from the California Highway Patrol, the major collision occurred on Auberry Road near Ventana Drive at approximately 3:30 p.m.

A Honda was attempting to pass two vehicles as it was traveling on Auberry Road. When it passed the second vehicle, the Honda swerved out of the way to avoid colliding with an oncoming northbound vehicle.

Unfortunately, the northbound vehicle then collided with the Toyota in the southbound lanes. The female Toyota driver was seriously injured in the crash. She was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, two passengers in the Toyota sustained minor injuries. The other driver was uninjured in the crash.
