[12-07-2021] Sacramento County, CA – One Person Hurt After a Pedestrian Crash Near Greenhaven

One unidentified person was injured after a pedestrian crash near Greenhaven on Tuesday morning, December 7, 2021.

The accident happened at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Florin Road in the Pocket neighborhood near Greenhaven.

The pedestrian was struck by a passing vehicle for unclear reasons. The car then hit the back of a trailer hauled by a pickup truck.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the crash. They were immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported. It’s unclear whether the driver that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
