Reports state that the fatal crash transpired around 7:50 a.m. along Harris Road and Manon Avenue.

Authorities rushed to the scene after receiving calls of a collision involving one pedestrian and a vehicle.

The 82-year-old victim died after being trapped under the car.

Before authorities arrived, the vehicle driver fled on foot but later returned. The driver was uninjured and cooperated with investigations.

Drugs or alcohol were not contributing factors to the fatal collision.

The victim’s identity has not been disclosed, pending notification of their next of kin.
