[12-08-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – Five People Injured Following a Multi-Vehicle Collision in Granada Hills

Five people were hurt after a major multi-vehicle traffic collision in Granada Hills on late Wednesday afternoon, December 8, 2021.

The accident occurred at approximately 5:23 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway, just south of Roxford Street in Granada Hills.

Six vehicles were involved in the collision. The circumstances leading up to the crash and the reason the accident occurred have not been established.

One or two people may have been ejected from their vehicles following the collision. Five people were injured as a result of the crash. The identities of the involved parties and their condition have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the accident. They will attempt to determine the factors and the liability in the crash.
