[12-08-2022] Driver Killed Following Two-Vehicle Collision in OlivehurstA 26-year-old Olivehurst man was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Olivehurst, Yuba County, early Thursday morning, December 8, 2022.

Reports confirmed that the fatal crash transpired around 3:32 a.m. close to Kay Street and Alicia Avenue.

The unidentified driver was traveling westbound on Kay Street at high speed in a gray 2000 Toyota Camry when he collided with a white 2018 Toyota Camry northbound on Alicia Avenue after failing to stop at a stop sign.

The impact force caused extensive damage to the 2000 Camry and blunt force injuries to the male driver.

According to the authorities, the individual failed to wear a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the Camry driver was taken to a nearby hospital after sustaining minor injuries.
