[12-10-2021] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Killed, Five Others Injured After a Two-Vehicle Collision in Fontana

A 55-year-old woman identified as Mariesha C. was killed while five others were injured following a deadly two-vehicle collision in Fontana on Friday night, December 10, 2021. The accident occurred at around 9:07 p.m. at Baseline Avenue and San Sevaine Road in Fontana.

[12-10-2021] San Bernardino County, CA - One Person Killed, Five Others Injured After a Two-Vehicle Collision in FontanaA westbound blue Infiniti Q50 was traveling at high speeds on Baseline when it struck a gray Volkswagen Jetta heading north on San Sevaine.

The 55-year-old female driver of the Volkswagen sustained fatal injuries in the crash. Unfortunately, despite the life-saving measures performed by emergency personnel, she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

Five people inside the Infiniti sustained moderate injuries in the crash and were all taken to an area hospital for treatment. The identities of the injured parties have not been disclosed.

The Fontana Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T) is further investigating the cause of the collision.
