[12-11-2021] Fresno County, CA – DUI Crash at Olive and Chesnut Avenues Injures Two People

Two people were injured following a suspected DUI traffic crash at Olive Avenue and Chestnut Avenue on Saturday evening, December 11, 2021.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened in the area of Olive and Chesnut Avenues at around 5:45 p.m.

A westbound vehicle was traveling on Olive Avenue when the driver struck a parked car near the intersection.

Two people inside the parked car sustained minor injuries in the crash. Their identities have not been disclosed.

Authorities later determined that the westbound vehicle driver was under the influence at the time of the crash. The driver was arrested on DUI-related charges.

The accident is currently under further investigation.
