[12-11-2021] Stanislaus County, CA – Two People Killed Following a Deadly DUI Crash in Ceres

Two 19-year-old olds were killed after a fatal traffic crash involving a suspected DUI driver at an intersection in Ceres on Saturday night, December 11, 2021.

[12-11-2021] Stanislaus County, CA - Two People Killed Following a Deadly DUI Crash in CeresThe fatal collision occurred at the intersection of West Whitmore Avenue and Crows Landing Road at around 8:00 p.m.

A 2019 Ford F350 pickup was heading southbound on Crows Landing Road when the driver ran a red light at the intersection and struck an eastbound 2008 Nissan Altima on West Whitmore Avenue.

The Altima driver and his passenger were fatally injured in the crash. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities later determined that the Ford F350 driver was under the influence at the time of the accident. She was identified as 278-year-old Danielle M. from Fair Oaks. She was arrested and booked into custody on suspicion of felony DUI and homicide.

Local authorities are further investigating the case. Witnesses that can give more information about the accident are urged to call Officer Freddie Ortiz at 209-538-5678.
